Postindustrial founders Matt Stroud and Carmen Gentile approched Olson McIntyre with a novel concept for a media company in need of a brand. The task was to create a respectable and time-honored look like the newspapers of the past, but with a future flair. A timeless and refined serif typeface was the clear choice to pair with beautiful photography coming from PI’s partner, American Reportage. Our partnership has allowed Olson McIntyre to develop this brand over time through editorial illustrations and flexible color story to really bring the message of Postindustrial to life.
